SmartPrint Fleet Management (a Corporate member of the MPSA) and Ingram Micro have announced a partnership to launch ClickMPS™ Managed Print Services program for Resellers in Australia and New Zealand. Read full announcement.

ClickMPS is designed to assist Ingram’s 6,500 dealer, reseller and OEM partners in Australia in providing independent and holistic managed print solutions. Authorized resellers will be able to create, package and propose MPS in a fraction of the normal quoting time according to the announcement.

“This product has been designed to aid the novice, right up to the experienced MPS professional, to provide all brands of equipment, in-house finance packages, value adds and blended MPS offerings from a single source.” says Jason Ganis, CEO of SmartPrint.

Desmond Ling, Ingram Micro’s Senior Director, Consumer, Components & Print, says the partnership with SmartPrint has been under development for a while.

“We’ve been looking for a solution that enables our Reseller partners to provide Managed Services across diverse fleets of printers and photocopies from all our Vendor partners. With ClickMPS, we can provide a simple, easy-to-use, web-based solution that makes it easy for Reseller partners to build Managed Print Services solutions for their customers – saving them time, money and delivering an environmentally friendly solution in the process,” he says.

Ling says Ingram Micro is setting up a new Print Services group to support the new partnership and provide a dedicated team to aid Reseller partners in creating Managed Print Services solutions for their customers.

Ganis says SmartPrint’s neutrality allows it to deliver flexible services that can be tailored to each individual customer’s requirements. This gives clients comfort that SmartPrint is making the best recommendations and offering the most economical device choices while both meeting their current needs and accommodating future development, he says.

“Being 100 percent brand independent and vendor agnostic means we can truly meet the needs of every client, many of whom have existing mixed fleets of printers and multi-function devices,” Ganis says.

While SmartPrint is the largest independent and fastest growing MPS provider in Australia, they are still small in comparison to Ingram Micro, the world’s largest technology distributor and a leading technology sales, marketing and logistics company for the IT industry worldwide.
