Already recognized as a leading global consultancy for Managed Print Services (MPS) by enterprise class customers and MPS providers, NewField IT announced today the expansion of its Consulting Division in the USA with the transfer of the Office Document Assessment (ODA) Team from its parent company Xerox Corporation.
The addition of the substantial ODA Team makes NewField IT the largest international consulting firm in the MPS space with more than 30 full time in-house consultants in the USA, UK and France; the consultants are supported by an international team of asset data collectors, equipped with NewField IT’s award winning Asset DB software, who provide coverage in local languages across Europe and North America and a capacity to capture locational information on over 50,000 print devices a month. This transfer underpins Xerox’s strategic growth plan for NewField IT to become a global Centre for Excellence for Assessment and MPS Design services. NewField IT’s Consulting Services team provide independent professional advice on current state issues, costs, environmental impact, strategy development, and document lifecycle optimisation to end-users and MPS providers.
Since NewField IT’s acquisition by Xerox, the company has continued to provide independent advice to enterprise customers seeking to go to market for their MPS needs, including notable wins with a worldwide leader in desktop office and operating system software, an international hi-tech engineering company operating in 50 countries and two of the top 20 global universities. The new team will adopt NewField IT’s ISO27001 information security practices and code of conduct which underpin the company’s ability to give independent advice.
Robert Newry Managing Director and Co-Founder, NewField IT said, “The ODA team are highly respected in the industry for the quality and depth of their reports and to have them as part of the international group in NewField IT will mean a new powerhouse for Assessment and MPS Design services in the industry.”
All experienced print, imaging and workflow professionals, the ODA team has adopted Lean Six Sigma practices and are recognised by Gartner as a reason for Xerox’s leadership position in the Magic Quadrant of MPS leaders. The combination of their experience and NewField IT’s methodology will provide an industry leading approach to the service and coverage in North America.
