The standard specifies requirements for activities such as determining environmental aspects and impacts of products, activities, and services; planning environmental objectives with measurable targets; and implementing and operating programs to meet objectives and targets.

The commoditization of the printed page and the race to see who can offer cost per page (CPP) at the cheapest price are big factors in significantly reduced margins for dealers.
