- Describe your company – a high-level description of what your business does.
Clover Imaging is a global leader in sustainable imaging solutions, providing high-quality remanufactured ink and toner cartridges that help organizations reduce printing costs while lowering their environmental impact.
Our broad portfolio includes award-winning remanufactured supplies, managed print and technology services, and comprehensive marketing and sales support. These capabilities enable Clover to deliver a true partnership to independent resellers, OEMs, and retailers by combining performance, reliability, and sustainability at scale.
- How does your organization support the managed print services (MPS) landscape, and what has been your relationship or involvement with the MPSA local and or global community?
Clover supports the MPS landscape by providing a complete, vendor-neutral infrastructure that enables dealers to maximize profitability through high-quality remanufactured supplies, automated logistics, and sustainability reporting.
A key differentiator is our focus on extended yield cartridges, which are engineered to deliver a lower cost per page and longer cartridge life. This directly improves dealer margins while reducing service frequency and environmental waste.
Through our involvement with the MPSA community, we continue to collaborate with industry leaders to advance best practices, drive innovation, and promote sustainable solutions across the channel.
- From your perspective, what is the most significant way your organization, or business is making (or can make) in terms of a positive impact to the broader MPSA community? (For example – how do you work or support the dealer OEMs, Dealers, Software providers, Supplies, the channel – e.g. technology solutions, distribution networks, warehousing etc?)
Clover’s most significant contribution to the MPSA community is delivering a “triple-win” value proposition: OEM-comparable quality, significant cost savings, and verified sustainability.
Our remanufactured cartridges are engineered to meet OEM performance standards, enabling dealers to maintain strong margins without compromising customer satisfaction. Backed by a North American manufacturing footprint, robust distribution network, and dedicated U.S. based customer service and product support teams, we make it easy for partners to scale efficiently and reliably.
- Can you describe a time when your organization had to adapt to a major shift in the MPS or production print industry? What did you learn, and how did that experience shape the way you support your customers today?
One of the most significant shifts we navigated was the impact of COVID-19, which accelerated the decline in print volumes by nearly a decade overnight. As workplaces transitioned to hybrid environments, we quickly adapted our operating model, optimized production, and helped dealers reposition their strategies in a lower-print environment.
That experience reinforced the importance of agility, proactive communication, and staying closely aligned with our partners’ evolving needs.
Today, one of the biggest challenges is OEM firmware updates designed to limit aftermarket compatibility. Clover has remained ahead of these disruptions through continuous investment in R&D and manufacturing, minimizing end-user impact.
The key lesson is that success is not just about the product. It is about partnership, education, and clear communication. By working closely with dealers and proactively engaging end users, we reduce confusion, protect satisfaction, and drive better results for everyone involved.
- Reflecting on our conversation, what do you see as the biggest opportunity for innovation and collaboration within the managed print community?
The greatest opportunity for innovation and collaboration within the MPSA community lies in integrating transparent sustainability data into the managed print workflow. As organizations move beyond simply “checking a box” and begin requiring audited ESG metrics, there is a significant opportunity for dealers and vendors to collaborate on tools that quantify environmental impact at the page level.
By combining cost savings with measurable sustainability outcomes, the industry can deliver greater value and differentiation to end customers.
- How have you benefited from the MPSA community? What are the biggest attributes? What improvements are needed?
Being part of the MPSA community has been instrumental in helping Clover strengthen relationships with leading dealers across the industry. It provides a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, innovation, and alignment on industry challenges.
Looking ahead, there is an opportunity for more transparency and dialogue around supply choices. Many dealers are increasingly turning to low-cost compatible products, which are often manufactured overseas using first-use plastics and lack the quality and sustainability standards of true remanufacturing.
As a long-standing remanufacturer, Clover invests heavily in quality, engineering, and environmental responsibility. We believe the community can play a larger role in educating the market and highlighting the long-term value of sustainable, high-quality alternatives over short-term cost decisions. We would love for the group to do more to highlight and promote legitimate remanufacturing vendors like Clover Imaging.
- What is the one or key two messages (take-aways, insights) that you would leave the audience today – so they resonate in the minds of our audience (locally and globally).
Clover is committed to being the easiest and most trusted partner in the industry by aligning with how our customers want to do business.
We deliver OEM-quality printing supplies at a lower cost per page, backed by a sustainable model that reduces waste and environmental impact without ever requiring access to sensitive customer data.
