- Describe your company – a high‑level description of what your business does.
TD SYNNEX is a leading global distributor and solutions aggregator. We are the people who drive technology forward—helping vendors and reseller customers bring products, services and solutions to market with confidence. We connect the IT ecosystem through specialized expertise, digital platforms, supply chain strength and financing solutions.
Within print and imaging, we help partners simplify complexity and build profitable managed print and production print practices through hardware, software, supplies, services and analytics.
- How does your organization generally support the MPS landscape, and what has been your involvement with the MPSA community?
We help partners move from transactional print sales to scalable, recurring-revenue models. From pre-sales design to fulfillment, analytics and ongoing optimization, we equip partners to grow profitably. Supporting the MPS landscape has been core to our business for many years. We work across the entire lifecycle—from pre‑sales design and contract structuring to fulfillment, analytics, and ongoing optimization—helping partners move from transactional print into sustainable, service‑led models.
Our relationship with the MPSA community, both locally and globally, has been equally important. We actively engage in MPSA chapters, forums, and events to share real‑world insight, learn from peers, and collaborate on advancing industry best practices. MPSA has been a valuable platform for bringing together dealers, OEMs, software providers, and distributors in a way that encourages transparency, education, and collective progress.
- What is the most significant way your organization makes a positive impact on the broader MPSA community?
We sit at the center of the ecosystem, helping partners collaborate faster, remove friction and deliver better customer outcomes. Our greatest impact is helping connect the dots across the ecosystem. We sit at the intersection of OEMs, dealers, software providers, and suppliers, and we work closely with each group to ensure solutions are aligned, scalable, and commercially viable.
That includes providing technology platforms that enable visibility and control, operational and logistics infrastructure that supports national and multi‑location programs, and advisory support that helps partners modernize their offerings. By reducing friction, whether operational, financial, or technical, we help the channel deliver better outcomes for end customers while protecting partner profitability.
- Describe a time your organization had to adapt to a major MPS or production print shift?
Like much of the industry, we’ve navigated multiple major transitions, most recently the acceleration from hardware-centric models to recurring, service-based revenue, compounded by the disruption of COVID.
During that period, our priority was to help customers remain operational while rapidly adjusting expectations around device usage, contract flexibility and service delivery. We leaned heavily into data, communication and simplification, helping partners reforecast programs, renegotiate where needed and deploy tools that improved visibility into remote and hybrid environments.
What we learned was that adaptability, transparency and strong partnerships matter more than any single technology. That experience continues to shape how we support customers today by building flexibility into programs, investing in scalable platforms and leading change collaboratively rather than reactively.
- Biggest opportunity for innovation and collaboration in the managed print community.
The biggest opportunity is helping partners use automation, analytics and integration to create smarter service experiences and unlock new revenue streams. The industry has all the pieces, but too often they operate in silos. When dealers, OEMs, software providers and distributors work together more intentionally, we can reduce operational overhead, improve end-user experiences and unlock new service opportunities beyond traditional print.
Innovation doesn’t have to mean disruption. It can mean alignment, standardization and shared intelligence that benefits the entire ecosystem.
- How have you benefited from the MPSA community? Strengths and areas for improvement.
MPSA has been invaluable as a peer-driven, vendor-neutral forum. The openness of the community, the willingness to share lessons learned, and the practical focus on real-world challenges are its greatest strengths. The local chapter model also creates meaningful opportunities for connection that go beyond traditional conferences.
As the industry continues to evolve, there is an opportunity to further expand cross-functional participation, bringing even more voices together from technology, operations and services, while continuing to elevate global collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Key takeaways you’d leave with the audience.
First: Managed print continues to succeed when we treat it as a business strategy, not just a device strategy. Recurring revenue, service excellence and measurable customer outcomes must remain the focus.
Second: No one wins alone. TD SYNNEX is your partner to scale, helping bring together vendors, reseller customers and technologies to unlock growth. When we work together with transparency and purpose, the entire community benefits.
Third: The future belongs to those who evolve now. We’re seeing strong momentum across the IT industry driven by AI, but sustainable growth will come from turning interest into real outcomes—not just hype.
