1. Describe your company – a high-level description of what your business does.

Predictive InSight delivers industry-leading data-capture software and exceptional support, driving business success.

Our software enables dealers to maximize profitability and cash flow through just-in-time consumable management and meter collections. More importantly, we provide account management software that helps dealer sales organizations measure and maximize account penetration and share of wallet.

Our service and support are second to none in our space, providing a 5-minute live response time and full resolution within 4 hours for issues that don’t require a software revision.

  1. How does your organization generally support the MPS landscape, and what has been your role in that evolution?

We partner with leading OEMs and software suppliers to enhance remote management tools and continuously seek new opportunities to deliver value and automation to our partners.

We may be the only distributor that participates in the internal planning boards of our major suppliers, including EKM Global’s product review board. This involvement allows EKM to adjust products in line with changing market needs.

From the outset, Predictive InSight has prioritized investing in support rather than sales. This ensures we keep pace with the market and move proactively with changes. It defines our culture and passion.

  1. What is the most significant way your organization makes a positive impact on the broader MPSA community?

The most significant way we impact the broader MPS community is by helping drive innovation that benefits dealers across the industry.

Through participation on supplier planning and product review boards, including EKM Global’s product review board, we provide real-world feedback on evolving market needs. This collaboration has helped influence product enhancements, including expanded support for large-format devices and algorithm adjustments during COVID that improved forecasting accuracy for production print environments.

As we’ve focused on supporting production and large-format devices, EKM now supports nearly all large-format devices for square area reading, not just images. During the COVID period, we adapted algorithms to accommodate “binge” printing, leading to more accurate calculations for production devices and enabling adjustments down to the single-unit or customer level.

By staying closely connected to dealers and sharing those insights with our technology partners, we help ensure solutions continue evolving to meet the changing needs of the industry.

  1. Describe a time your organization had to adapt to a major MPS or production print shift.

OAs we’ve focused on supporting production and large-format devices, EKM now supports nearly all large-format devices for square area reading, not just images.

During the COVID period, we adapted algorithms to accommodate “binge” printing, leading to more accurate calculations for production devices and enabling adjustments down to the single-unit or customer level.

These changes ensured our software and analytics continued to provide accurate and valuable insights despite dramatic shifts in customer printing behavior.

  1. Biggest opportunity for innovation and collaboration in the managed print community.

Technology will continue evolving, impacting us through advances such as AI, quantum computing, and new processes.

To stay ahead, we must remain flexible and embrace change. Processes that have remained unchanged for decades may hold us back. The opportunities lie in seeking improvements, automating wherever possible, and eliminating manual processes that limit efficiency.

If spreadsheets are central to decision-making, remove that obstacle. By working closely with manufacturers, software providers, dealers, and industry associations, we can drive innovation that delivers greater value across the managed print ecosystem.

  1. How have you benefited from the MPSA community? Strengths and areas for improvement.

This is why I love the Education Committee of the MPSA. It is always challenging what we do and looking for ways to improve.

I’ve spent time on the board, but I absolutely love this group. The willingness of members to share ideas, challenge assumptions, and collaborate on improving our industry is one of the MPSA’s greatest strengths.

The continued focus on education, innovation, and helping members anticipate change will remain critical as our industry evolves.

  1. Key takeaways you’d leave with the audience.

Our greatest opportunities and rewards lie ahead.

Technology will continue evolving through advances such as AI, quantum computing, and new processes. To stay ahead, we must remain flexible and embrace change.

Seek improvements. Automate wherever possible. If spreadsheets are central to decision-making, remove that obstacle. Stay involved, observant, and fearless.

Ours is a mature industry, but it is far from stagnant. It remains vital and constantly evolving, both in technology and customer support. Predictive InSight and our suppliers must remain mindful and responsive to these changes. We refer to this as staying “fashionable.”
